Systems Design

We take a systems approach to Micro Molding material delivery design because there is great value in getting the melt supply as close to the cavity as possible.

A 10mm flow distance reduction can reduce pressure by 5,000psi or residence time by 10 minutes.  A shorter sprue can reduce material waste and improve cycle time by seconds.

Our 2-stage injection units have an extruder, melt transfer, plunger drive, and melt delivery.  We use these as building blocks to engineer optimized micro injection molding solutions.
