Job description

Vector Injection requires a Junior PLC Programmer/Automation Technician to join our team developing and commissioning custom injection molding machines and equipment.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. PLC Programming (CoDeSys programming language, IEC 61131-3)
2. Motion system setup, configuration, testing, tuning
3. HMI design, programming, configuration, testing
4. 24v control panel wiring, 24v control circuit design
5. Project management and documentation
6. Office and shop duties as required

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
1. PLC programming
2. Electrical Engineering Technologist college diploma
3. Ability to work independently
4. Problem solving ability
5. Attention to detail
6. Machine shop experience an asset
