X-07 Micro Injection Unit

The X-07 Injection unit is meticulously engineered for precise injection control of micro-parts. Precision in this range (0.05-0.5g) requires an injection screw less than Ø10mm.  Maintaining Vector's modular/customizable design philosophy, the X-07 is available with Ø8mm, Ø6mm, and Ø4mm injection plungers.

Supporting the molder:
  • Timestamped molding data saved to .csv files locally or to a network location
  • Process limits set to interrupt cycle it process is out of specification
  • Remote access via WIFI connection for real-time trouble-shooting and training
A stationary extrusion screw feeds full-sized pellets from the first to the second stage.  Shot to Shot repeatability is ensured with our non-return system that does not have a mechanical check valve. With no check valve and a Ø4mm injection screw, a 50mg part can be injected with a 5mm stroke. 5mm is a meaningful distance; a measurable injection profile can be recorded.
The screw over screw configuration maintains the first in first out (FIFO) principal guaranteeing homogeneous non-degraded, low heat exposure material from the start to the end of your production run.
